Fugro is a Dutch multinational listed on the Dutch stock exchange, focused on geo-data and asset integrity. It provides geotechnical, hydrographic, and geoscience services to offshore energy, infrastructure, and renewables worldwide, helping clients deliver safe, sustainable projects—from offshore wind to subsea pipelines and coastal protection.

As Lead Developer, I own frontend technical direction and architecture: I guide the team, uphold code quality, and make scalable design choices. I run reviews, support people’s growth, explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders, and improve workflows and tooling.

ROVC is the Netherlands' main technical training institute: it connects professionals and organizations with courses and certifications for lifelong learning.

As Frontend Developer, I maintain and imrprove this high-traffic platform with a modern composable stack using ISR for performance and SEO; Algolia for fast search, Tailwind CSS for styling, serverless microservices on AWS Lambda that sync product data between the ROVC API and CMS.

I led the digital signage programme for Fugro's new headquarters in Leidschendam. Overseeing delivery end to end, aligning UX and visual design across every touchpoint, and coordinating two freelancers alongside 2 mobile and 2 frontend developers.

The platform drives dozens of screens throughout the building, from a central LED globe with a live world map and day/night view to floor displays for news, projects, and colleague stories, all fed from a headless CMS. I also advised on an AR layer for visitors and staff. The stack combines fixed-resolution layouts, offline-first playback, live data, multi-screen video sync, and Electron in kiosk mode for stable 24/7 operation.

KeesingApp simplifies counterfeit detection for passports, ID cards, driver's licenses, and banknotes. It supports 3 types of security feature detection: Look, Feel and Tilt.

Look shows detailed imagery of a documents security features, while Feel informs the user ahout tactile specifications.Tilt information is obtained through holographic images of your documents by tilting your device.

Spotten is an app platform that makes parking for companies a breeze.

Users can make reservations, start parking transactions, open parking barrier gates and control when their parking sessions ends. While admins can control all these processes from the Spotten dashboard.

Based on the user's requirements, Zelf offers tailored information about Business, Sales, Administration, Risks management, Accounting and Banking.

Keesing's DocumentChecker database contains the world's most comprehensive and accurate reference information for ID documents and banknotes.

It contains banknotes and ID documents from over 200 countries, and holds 70,000 images including security features like holograms and microprint.

Talentefinder is the number 1 match making application for career events. Recruiters and talents can use the match making interface to find the perfect career opportunity and the class' best talents.

In 2021 the application held over 100 events with more than 35000 talents. As the frontend developer of this team, I ensure that the application runs smoothly and that new features are implemented effectively. Some of my proudest achievements include: implementing localisation, implementing updated brand identity, developing the job platform with payment subscription and much more.

Heysports.io is the place for finding fitness and yoga studios in the Basel, Bern, Luzern, St Gallen and Zurich. The site offers users an overview of the studio details and interesting articles for improving your lifestyle

For this site I developed the frontend, created the component library, integrated the filtering functionality with map and appealed to the search engine gods.

Between 2018 and 2020, I have been working at DHI Gras where I was responsible for almost all digital output.

The web development focussed on online data viewers and portals through which we raised awareness for our products and projects. I streamlined the design, implemented a mobile-friendliness focus and improved the techstack to include the most modern frontend frameworks.

It resulted in over 2 dozen viewers and new ways of sharing and promoting our work.

During my time at DHI GRAS, I was responsible for defining a graphic style and increasing the organisation’s online presence.

This required us to esteblish a online brand identity and a streamlined tone for communication. It resulted in a new DHI GRAS website developed in Wordpress with Elementor, and dozens of SoMe videos that have gained significant online attention.
